Basically, to add stuff to the site, there are two methods:
1. Add your own content, through the "create content" menu on the left
The "Create content" menu includes:
- Group: This is the important one: this is where you add the details of your group(s) - contact details, topic areas, history, what ever you like. When you create a group, you become the administrator, and others can then join the group. You can post messages to a group, and the others in the group can receive those messages.
welcome to the GEN website. the Grassroots Environmnet Network is a tentative attempt at networking small and disparate environment groups from accross australia, and perhaps eventually the world.
GEN was concieved during the Australian Student Environment Network training camp 2007, and has slowly been evolving since then.

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is looking for young people in SA to get involved in our campaign 'Adopt A Politician'.
The level of involvement is totally up to you - from sending an email to your local politician to helping organise events to community campaigning.
Issues we cover include carbon emissions, climate refugees, anti-nuclear and renewable energies
